This is a non-isolated point-of-load (PoL) DC-DC converter module from Delta Electronics. It provides up to 3A output current over an input voltage range of 4.5V to 17V. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.8V to 5.5V. Peak efficiency reaches 91% at 12V input. The module integrates a PWM switching regulator and high-frequency power inductor in a compact hybrid package. It features automatic power saving/PWM mode, adjustable soft start, enable and power good functions, and protections including non-latching overcurrent and overtemperature. The surface mount package is an 8-LDFN exposed pad module measuring 3.0mm x 2.8mm x 1.5mm, suitable for automated assembly. Applications include point-of-load conversion, LDO replacement, set-top boxes, DSL modems, and industrial PCs. The module is RoHS compliant and MSL Level 2.
