The MUH1PD-M3/89A is a surface mount ultrafast rectifier diode from Vishay General Semiconductor, part of the MUH1PB-MUH1PD series. It is designed for use in secondary rectification and freewheeling applications in AC/AC and DC/DC converters, where ultrafast switching speeds are required.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 200V, an average rectified forward current (IF(AV)) of 1.0A, and a peak forward surge current (IFSM) of 10A. The diode features a low typical forward voltage drop of 0.82V at 1A and a reverse recovery time (trr) of 25ns, enabling efficient high-frequency operation. Maximum reverse leakage current is 1µA at 25°C.
The device is housed in a compact MicroSMP (DO-219AD) surface mount package with a typical height of 0.65mm, making it ideal for automated placement in space-constrained designs. The oxide planar chip junction technology ensures stable performance. Operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +175°C. The diode is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020C.
