The Samtec MTLW-103-05-G-S-185 is a 3-position single row unshrouded header from the MTLW series of low profile variable post height terminal strips. It features a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and uses a through-hole solder termination for reliable board attachment. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a gold finish of 10.0µin (0.25µm), ensuring excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance.
The header is designed for board-to-board or cable applications and utilizes a push-pull fastening mechanism. The insulator is molded from black Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, suitable for demanding environments. The operating temperature range spans -55°C to 125°C, and each contact is rated for 5.2A.
Samtec's Flex Stack design allows for modified post height and body position in 0.005" increments, providing flexibility in stacking height. The square post contact system measures 0.025" (0.635mm) on each side. This component is supplied in bulk packaging and is RoHS3 compliant (unverified).
