The onsemi MT9J003 is a 1/2.3-inch CMOS active-pixel digital imaging sensor with an active pixel array of 3856 (H) x 2764 (V). It supports 10 Mp (3664 (H) x 2748 (V)) digital still images and a 1080p (3840 (H) x 2160 (V)) digital video mode. This sensor features onsemi’s low-noise CMOS imaging technology, achieving near-CCD image quality while maintaining the advantages of CMOS.
Key features include a simple two-wire serial interface, auto black level calibration, and support for external mechanical shutters and flashes. It offers programmable controls for gain, exposure, frame size/rate, and image reversal. The sensor provides data interfaces via Parallel or Four-lane Serial High-speed Pixel Interface (HiSPi) Differential Signaling (Sub-LVDS).
Operating within a temperature range of -30°C to 70°C (TJ) and requiring a voltage of 1.7V to 1.9V, the MT9J003 is suitable for digital video cameras and digital still cameras. It comes in a 48-ILCC (10x10) package.
