The Texas Instruments MSP430G2553 is a versatile 16-bit microcontroller based on the ultra-low-power MSP430 CPU. It operates at frequencies up to 16 MHz and features 16KB of Flash memory and 512 bytes of SRAM.
This MCU includes a 10-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with 8 channels, two 16-bit Timer_A modules, and up to 24 capacitive-touch enabled I/O pins. Communication interfaces include I2C, SPI, and UART, supporting various application needs.
With a low supply voltage range of 1.8 V to 3.6 V and power consumption as low as 0.1 µA in off mode with RAM retention, the MSP430G2553 is designed for power-sensitive applications. It offers five power-saving modes and ultra-fast wake-up from standby in less than 1 µs.
The device is available in PDIP, VQFN, and TSSOP packages, suitable for a range of embedded system designs.
