The Vishay Dale MSP3V3-M3/89A is a surface-mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode from the TRANSZORB® series, housed in a compact MicroSMP (DO-219AD) package.
This device is designed for protecting sensitive electronics against voltage transients. It features a working voltage range of 3.3V to 5.0V and a breakdown voltage range of 4.1V to 7.07V. The diode provides a maximum clamping voltage of 11.5V at 87A (8/20µs) and has a peak pulse power rating of 150W (10 μs/1000 μs).
Key electrical characteristics include a unidirectional polarity and an ESD capability of 15 kV (air) and 8 kV (contact). The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
Ideal for automated placement, the MicroSMP package has a very low profile, making it suitable for space-constrained applications. The terminals are matte tin plated and solderable per J-STD-002.
