The Micronas MSP3450G-QI is a versatile single-chip Multistandard Sound Processor. It handles sound processing for all analog TV standards worldwide, as well as NICAM digital sound standards. The device performs full TV sound processing from analog sound IF input to processed analog AF output on a single chip.
Key features include a loudspeaker/headphone channel with volume, balance, bass, treble, and loudness controls, along with Automatic Volume Correction (AVC). It also offers a subwoofer output with programmable filters and a 5-band graphic equalizer for the loudspeaker channel. The MSP3450G-QI supports standard selection via I2C transmission and features automatic detection of terrestrial TV standards and automatic sound selection (mono/stereo/bilingual).
Connectivity includes four stereo SCART line inputs, one mono input, and two stereo SCART outputs. The processor is housed in a QFP package, suitable for various audio processing applications in consumer electronics and broadcasting equipment.
