It handles a wide range of block code rates and constellations, including QPSK, 16-QAM, 64-QAM, and 256-QAM. The device also supports transmit diversity (MISO), various scattered pilot patterns, and single/multiple PLPs.

Miscellaneous features include acceptance of IF and low IF inputs across channel bandwidths of 1.7, 5, 6, 7, and 8MHz. It offers a configurable parallel/serial MPEG-2 transport stream interface, fast channel acquisition, and auto-scan time.
