The MS3459W24-7S is a MIL-DTL-5015 Series III self-locking plug connector designed for high-reliability military and aerospace applications. It features a shell size 24 with a 1 1/2-18 UNEF mating thread and a 1-7/16-18UNEF accessory thread. The connector uses threaded coupling and incorporates a self-locking mechanism to prevent loosening under vibration.
Socket (female) contacts are crimp removable with rear release retention, allowing easy field replacement. The plug accommodates multiple contact sizes: maximum length for 8, 4, and 0 contacts is 2.125 in (53.98 mm), while for 16 and 12 contacts it extends to 2.500 in (63.50 mm). Maximum outer diameter is 1.963 in (49.86 mm).
