The ITT Cannon MS3106F28-9S is a circular connector plug from the MS A&B series, designed to meet MIL-C-5015 performance requirements. It features 12 female socket contacts arranged in a normal orientation within a free-hanging (in-line) housing. The connector uses a threaded coupling mechanism for secure mating and is terminated via solder cups, which are preloaded in the insulator and remain properly oriented during wiring.
The shell is constructed from aluminum alloy with an olive drab cadmium finish, providing corrosion resistance and durability. The contacts are machined from copper alloy and plated with silver for reliable electrical performance. The connector is rated for 900VAC and 1250VDC, with a current rating of 22A and 41A depending on contact size. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and is environment resistant.
