The MS-162(01) is a miniature interface coaxial switch receptacle from Hirose Electric, designed for DC to 10 GHz operation. It features an internal switch design that normally closes the circuit, redirecting to the plug side when mated. The receptacle offers low insertion loss of 0.08 dB typical at 1 GHz and 0.12 dB typical at 2 GHz.\n\nKey specifications include 50 Ohm impedance, 100 mA current rating, and 12,000 mating cycles minimum. The contact is made of beryllium copper with solder termination, and the housing is gold. The receptacle has a snap-on fastening type and a 4mm plug diameter connector style.\n\nThe surface mount package occupies only 3.5 mm x 3.1 mm board space with a low profile of 2.5 mm max above the board.
