The MPXA4100A6T1 from NXP Semiconductors is a state-of-the-art, monolithic, signal-conditioned silicon pressure sensor. It is specifically designed for sensing absolute air pressure within intake manifolds, making it suitable for engine control systems. This sensor provides an accurate, high-level analog output signal proportional to the applied pressure.
Key features include a pressure range of 20 to 105 kPa (2.9 to 15.2 psi) with a maximum error of 1.8% over 0°C to 85°C. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +125°C, and it operates with a supply voltage of 4.85V to 5.35V. The output signal is analog, ranging from 0.3V to 4.9V.
This sensor is housed in a durable thermoplastic PPS surface mount package (SOP-8) with SMD/SMT termination.
