The MPC5200CVR400BR2 from NXP Semiconductors is a single-core, 32-bit microprocessor built on the PowerPC e300 core architecture. It delivers 760 MIPS performance at 400 MHz and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.

This processor features a 16 KB instruction cache and a 16 KB data cache, along with a double-precision FPU. It supports SDRAM/DDR memory interfaces up to 133 MHz with a 32-bit data bus. The flexible external bus interface supports various memory types and offers 8 programmable chip selects.

Key peripherals include a PCI controller (v2.2 compatible) operating at 33/66 MHz, an ATA controller for IDE connectivity, and a BestComm DMA subsystem. It also provides 6 programmable serial controllers (PSC) with multiple interface options (UART, RS232, I2S, SPI, IrDA), a Fast Ethernet Controller (FEC) for 10/100Mbps connectivity, and a USB 1.1 Host controller with two ports.
