The Eaton MP2A-101-R is a MICRO-PAC PLUS™ low profile, surface mount power inductor designed for high performance in compact applications. It offers a nominal inductance of 100µH with a tolerance of ±20% and a low DC resistance (DCR) of 2.015 Ohms.
This inductor is rated for a continuous RMS current of 390mA and a saturation current of 0.45A. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. The molybdenum permalloy (MPP) core material and closed magnetic field construction contribute to low EMI.
With dimensions of 7.50mm L x 5.20mm W x 1.80mm H, the MP2A-101-R is designed for surface mounting. It is packaged on a 13" diameter reel with 3,900 parts per reel. The inductor is compliant with J-STD-020 for solder reflow temperatures and operates at frequencies up to 500 kHz.
