This OptiFuse MOCBM-PL-5A is a modified reset type circuit breaker designed in a regular automotive blade style. It operates at a voltage rating of up to 14V DC and is rated for 5A.
The circuit breaker conforms to American National Standard SAE J553. It features an automatic reset actuator type and has a single pole configuration. The operating temperature range for this device is -40° C to 85° C.
The body of the circuit breaker is constructed from PBT, and the cover is made of anodized aluminum in a silver color. The interrupt rating for the 5A version is 150A at 14 VDC. Response times are specified at over 30 minutes at 100% current, less than 30 minutes at 135% current, and less than 1 minute at 200% current.
