The OptiFuse MOCB2-TP-30A is a modified reset automotive circuit breaker conforming to American National Standard SAE J553. This device is designed for 12VDC applications and has a current rating of 30A.
It features a plastic body and two 0.250" quick connect terminals for easy installation. Modified reset circuit breakers open during over-current conditions and remain open as long as power is applied to the affected circuit or until the load is removed. This makes them suitable for occasional overcurrent protection.
The circuit breaker has an open time of less than 1 minute at 200% of its rated current, less than 30 minutes at 135%, and greater than 30 minutes at 100%. It is intended for occasional overcurrent protection and not for repeated overcurrent conditions or prolonged tripping.
Avoid contact with chemical solvents, as prolonged contact may damage the device's performance. Operation beyond specified maximum ratings or improper use may result in damage, electrical arcing, or flame.
