The MMSZ5V1T1G from On Semiconductor is a Zener voltage regulator diode designed for voltage regulation and protection applications. It provides a nominal Zener voltage of 5.1V with a tolerance of ±5% and is capable of dissipating up to 500mW on FR-4 or FR-5 boards. The device features a maximum Zener impedance of 60Ω and a low reverse leakage current of 2 µA at 2V reverse voltage. Its forward voltage is typically 900mV at 10mA.
The diode is housed in a SOD-123 surface mount package, which is optimized for automated board assembly and high-density applications. It supports an operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C and is rated for soldering up to 260°C for 10 seconds.
