The MMSZ5242B is a 12V Zener diode from Diotec Semiconductor, designed for voltage stabilization and regulation applications. It features a nominal Zener voltage of 12V with a tolerance of ±5%, and a maximum power dissipation of 500mW. The device offers a low forward voltage of 0.9V at 10mA and a low reverse leakage current of 1µA at 9.1V.
This Zener diode is housed in a compact SOD-123F surface mount package, making it suitable for space-constrained designs. It has a maximum operating junction temperature of 150°C and a storage temperature range of -50°C to 150°C. The package is UL 94V-0 rated and supports solder conditions of 260°C for 10 seconds.
