The MMSZ15T1G is a Zener voltage regulator diode from On Semiconductor designed for general purpose voltage regulation and reference applications. It offers a nominal Zener voltage of 15V with a tolerance of ±5% and a maximum power dissipation of 500mW on FR-4 or FR-5 boards. The device features a maximum Zener impedance of 30Ω at the specified test current, a reverse leakage current of 50nA at 10.5V, and a forward voltage of 900mV at 10mA.
The diode is packaged in a surface mount SOD-123 case, designed for automated board assembly. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +150°C and has a thermal resistance of 340°C/W junction-to-ambient and 150°C/W junction-to-lead. The part is ESD rated Class 3 (>16kV) per Human Body Model, has a flammability rating of UL 94 V-0, and is available in Pb-free packages.
This Zener diode is suitable for voltage regulation, clamping, and protection circuits in consumer, industrial, and automotive applications where surface mount assembly is required.
