The Samtec MMS-104-01-L-DV is a classic socket strip from the MMS series, featuring a 2.00mm (0.079") pitch and double-row configuration with 8 positions. It utilizes the Tiger Claw™ dual-wipe contact system to deliver reliable power and signal connections. The receptacle is rated for 3.9A per contact and supports data rates up to 8 Gbps NRZ, making it suitable for high-speed board-to-board or cable applications.
This through-hole component has a black LCP insulator and phosphor bronze contacts with 10µ" (0.25µm) gold plating on the contact area and matte tin on the tails. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is lead-free solderable. The push-pull fastening type ensures secure mating. Packaging is bulk.
Typical mating header series include TMM, TMMH, MTMM, and others. The connector is designed for vertical or horizontal orientation (double horizontal in this variant) and offers multiple insertion depth options depending on the mating direction.
