The Memsic MMC5603NJ is a monolithic 3-axis AMR magnetic sensor featuring integrated signal processing and an I2C interface. It measures magnetic fields up to ±30 Gauss (G) with a resolution of 0.0625mG per LSB in its 20-bit operation mode, enabling heading accuracy of ±1º.
Key features include on-chip automatic degaussing with a SET/RESET function to eliminate thermal variation induced offset errors and clear residual magnetization. It also includes on-chip sensitivity compensation and a temperature sensor. The sensor operates over a wide supply voltage range of 1.62V to 3.6V and has a low power consumption.
