The MMBZ27VALT1G is a dual monolithic silicon Zener diode from On Semiconductor designed for transient overvoltage protection. It features a 22V reverse standoff voltage, maximum clamping voltage of 40V at 1A peak pulse current, and a peak pulse power rating of 40W (1.0ms). The device supports two separate unidirectional channels or a single bidirectional configuration, making it versatile for protecting multiple lines in space-constrained designs.
The part offers high ESD protection: Class 3B (>16kV) per Human Body Model, Class C (>400V) per Machine Model, and IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 (±30kV contact discharge). It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The SOT-23-3 (TO-236) surface-mount package is optimized for automated assembly and high-density applications.
