The MMBZ18VALT1G is a dual monolithic silicon Zener TVS diode from On Semiconductor, designed for transient overvoltage protection in voltage and ESD sensitive equipment. It provides a maximum reverse standoff voltage of 14.5 V and a clamping voltage of 25 V at peak pulse current of 1.6 A, handling up to 40 W of peak pulse power (1.0 ms waveform).
The dual junction common anode design allows protection of two separate unidirectional lines or a single bidirectional configuration using only one SOT-23-3 package, making it ideal for space-constrained applications. The device is rated for ESD protection to IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 (±30 kV contact discharge), Human Body Model (>16 kV), and Machine Model (>400 V).
Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C, the MMBZ18VALT1G is surface mount and comes in a void-free, transfer-molded thermosetting plastic case with flammability rating UL 94 V-0. It is Pb-Free and RoHS compliant.
