The MMBZ12VALT1G is a dual Zener TVS diode from On Semiconductor designed for general purpose transient overvoltage protection. It provides a reverse standoff voltage of 8.5 V (typical) and a minimum breakdown voltage of 10.5 V. The maximum clamping voltage is 17 V at a peak pulse current of 2.35 A, with a peak pulse power rating of 40 W.
The device offers two unidirectional channels and one bidirectional channel, allowing flexible protection configurations. It is not intended for power line protection. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
Packaged in a surface mount SOT-23-3 (also available as TO-236-3 or SC-59), the MMBZ12VALT1G is suitable for high-density board designs. The package is void-free, transfer-molded thermosetting plastic with corrosion-resistant, solderable finish. The device is Pb-Free and RoHS compliant per the datasheet (unverified).
