The MM80C97N is a monolithic complementary MOS (CMOS) integrated circuit functioning as a 3-STATE Hex Buffer with non-inverting logic. It is constructed with N- and P-channel enhancement mode transistors and is designed to convert CMOS or TTL outputs to 3-STATE outputs without logic inversion.
This device features a wide supply voltage range from 3.0V to 15V and operates reliably within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It offers guaranteed noise margin of 1.0V and high noise immunity, with a typical value of 0.45 VCC. The MM80C97N is TTL compatible and can drive one TTL load.
Designed for applications such as bus drivers, the MM80C97N has a typical propagation delay of 40 ns into a 150 pF load. It is supplied in a 16-lead Plastic Dual-In-Line Package (PDIP) with a standard 0.300-inch width, suitable for through-hole mounting.
The MM80C97N has two 3-STATE controls, one for two devices and another for the remaining four devices, providing flexible control over its six buffer elements. Inputs are protected from static discharge damage by diode clamps to VCC and GND.
