The MM74HCT138MX from ON Semiconductor is a 3-to-8 line decoder/demultiplexer utilizing advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology. It is well-suited for memory address decoding or data routing applications, offering high noise immunity and low power consumption comparable to low power Schottky TTL logic.
This device features 3 binary select inputs (A, B, and C) that determine which of the eight normally HIGH outputs will go LOW when enabled. It includes two active LOW and one active HIGH enable inputs for cascading decoders. The outputs can drive up to 10 low power Schottky TTL equivalent loads and are functionally and pin equivalent to the 74LS138.
