MM3Z22VB

The MM3Z22VB is a 22V Zener diode from On Semiconductor, part of the MM3Z series of Zener diodes. It offers a nominal Zener voltage of 22V with a ±2% tolerance, ensuring precise voltage regulation. The diode is rated for 200mW power dissipation, suitable for low-power applications. It is tested at a Zener current of 5mA, where the maximum impedance is 51Ω. At a lower current of 1mA, the impedance increases to 235Ω. Reverse leakage current is 45nA at a reverse voltage of 15.4V. The forward voltage is 1V at 10mA forward current.

The device operates over a wide temperature range of -65°C to 150°C, with a maximum junction temperature of 150°C. The thermal resistance from junction to ambient is 595°C/W, which should be considered for thermal management in high-power applications.

The MM3Z22VB is housed in a SOD-323F (SC-90) surface mount package, which is very small and thin, making it ideal for space-constrained designs. The package has a matte tin finish and is Pb-Free. It is designed for surface mount assembly and is compatible with standard reflow soldering processes.
