The Melexis MLX90393SLW-ABA-011-RE is an absolute position sensor IC from the Triaxis® portfolio, designed for high flexibility in a miniature package. It features Melexis' proprietary Triaxis Hall technology, enabling robust magnetic sensing along the X, Y, and Z axes. This sensor IC operates with a supply voltage range of 2.2V to 3.6V, making it suitable for battery-powered applications, and offers selectable I2C and SPI bus protocols for versatile communication.
The MLX90393SLW-ABA-011-RE boasts a wide dynamic range of 5-50mT with on-the-fly programmable gain, allowing for fine-tuning of performance. It includes on-board filter settings and programmable operating modes and sleep times for micro-power consumption. The sensor provides a 16-bit output proportional to the magnetic flux density and a 16-bit temperature output signal. It is housed in a 16-VFQFN exposed pad package, suitable for surface mounting.
