The Melexis MLX90365LDC-ABD-000-SP is a Hall Effect position sensor IC capable of measuring both absolute rotary and linear positions. Utilizing Triaxis® Hall Technology, it can decode the absolute position of a moving magnet, enabling non-contacting position sensing.
This sensor operates with a supply voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and features a 0° to 360° continuous rotation angle. The output is provided as an analog voltage, with selectable output modes including Pulse Width Modulation (PWM). It offers 12-bit resolution and 10-bit thermal accuracy.
The MLX90365LDC-ABD-000-SP is designed for surface mounting in an 8-SOIC package with Gull Wing termination. It requires an external magnet and is suitable for applications such as pedal position, steering wheel position, throttle position, and float-level sensing.
Key features include on-board diagnostics, over-voltage protection, and under-voltage detection. The sensor is qualified to AEC-Q100 standards and is RoHS3 compliant.
