The MLX90365KGO-ABD-000-RE is a monolithic Triaxis position sensor IC designed for absolute rotary and linear position measurement. It utilizes Triaxis Hall technology to detect flux density components BX, BY, and BZ, enabling precise decoding of magnet position for applications such as rotary, linear, pedal, steering, throttle, float-level, and ride height sensors. The device supports programmable transfer characteristics, including multi-point linearity, and offers selectable output modes: analog (ratiometric) and PWM. It operates within a voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V and can withstand temperatures from -40°C to 125°C. The package options include a single die SOIC-8 and a dual die TSSOP-16, both RoHS compliant. It features open/short diagnostics, onboard diagnostics, over-voltage and under-voltage protection, and a 48-bit ID number option. The IC is suitable for automotive and industrial applications requiring non-contacting position sensing with high accuracy and reliability.
