The MLX80020KDC-BAA-000-RE is an enhanced LIN transceiver from MELEXIS, designed for single-wire data link applications. It is compatible with LIN Physical Layer Specification Rev.2.x and SAE J2602, supporting baud rates up to 20 kBaud.
This transceiver features a wide operating voltage range from 5V to 27V and a very low standby current consumption of 10µA in sleep mode, making it suitable for ECU applications with strict standby current requirements. It offers bus and local wake-up capabilities with source recognition and includes an integrated termination resistor for LIN slave nodes.
The device is housed in an 8-SOIC package and is designed for surface mount applications. It boasts enhanced ESD robustness according to IEC 61000-4-2 and low emission/high immunity levels. The MLX80020 is also fully compatible with 3.3V and 5V devices.
