The Freescale Semiconductor MKL26Z32VFM4 is an efficient 32-bit microcontroller from the Kinetis KL26 sub-family, built on the ultra-efficient ARM Cortex-M0+ processor running at up to 48 MHz. This general-purpose MCU is designed for low-power applications, offering run power consumption down to 40 μA/MHz and static power consumption as low as 2 μA with a 4.5 μs wakeup time.

Key features include 32KB of program flash memory and 4KB of SRAM. It supports a wide voltage range of 1.71V to 3.6V and operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. The microcontroller is equipped with various system peripherals such as a COP software watchdog, a 4-channel DMA controller, and a low-leakage wakeup unit. Communication interfaces include USB full-/low-speed On-The-Go, two SPI modules, an I2S module, one low power UART, two UART modules, and two I2C modules.

Analog capabilities include a 16-bit SAR ADC, a 12-bit DAC, and an analog comparator. For timing functions, it provides multiple Timer/PWM modules, periodic interrupt timers, a low-power timer, and a real-time clock. The device also features a low-power hardware touch sensor interface (TSI).
