The ON Semiconductor MJD44H11G is a complementary power transistor designed for general purpose power and switching applications, including output or driver stages in switching regulators, converters, and power amplifiers.
This NPN transistor features a maximum collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 80V and a continuous collector current (IC) of 8A. It can handle a peak collector current (ICM) of 16A. The device offers a maximum power dissipation of 20W at a case temperature of 25°C, and 1.75W at an ambient temperature of 25°C.
Designed for surface mounting, the MJD44H11G comes in a TO-252-3, DPak (2 Leads + Tab), SC-63 package. It operates within a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The transistor exhibits a DC current gain (hFE) of 40 minimum at 4A and 1V, and a Vce saturation of 1V maximum at 400mA and 8A. Its frequency response extends up to 85MHz.
The MJD44H11G is Pb-free and Halogen free, meeting RoHS 3 compliance. It is electrically similar to the D44H/D45H series and is suitable for applications requiring fast switching speeds and low collector-emitter saturation voltage.
