The MID400SD from ON Semiconductor is an optically isolated AC line to logic interface device designed for monitoring AC line conditions. It operates directly from any line voltage with the use of an external resistor and offers externally adjustable time delay and AC voltage sensing levels.
This device features a 1.5V input voltage and 20mA current rating. It provides 2500V AC RMS isolation for 1 minute and a maximum working insulation voltage of 630V peak. The MID400SD is suitable for applications requiring excellent optical isolation, solid-state reliability, TTL compatibility, small size, low power, and low-frequency operations.
Packaged in an 8-SMD, Gull Wing configuration, the MID400SD is designed for surface mounting. It is approved by UR and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
