The MIC94090YMT-TR is a high-side load switch from Microchip Technology, part of the MIC94090/1/2/3/4/5 family. It is designed for consumer applications and operates with an input voltage range of 1.7V to 5.5V.
This load switch features an internal 130mΩ Rds(on) P-channel MOSFET, enabling it to handle up to 1.2A of continuous current. It supports 1.5V logic-level control and shutdown features, with internal level shift circuitry allowing low-voltage logic signals to switch higher supply voltages. The enable pin requires a voltage above 1.25V to activate the switch.
The device is suitable for battery-powered systems, including those using Lithium ion, NiMH, NiCad, or Alkaline batteries, as well as non-battery powered applications. It offers low quiescent current and low shutdown current to maximize battery life.
The MIC94090YMT-TR is available in a space-saving 4-TMLF® (1.2x1.2mm) package, which is also thermally capable. It is designed for surface mount applications.
