The MIC845HYC5-TR is a precision micro-power voltage comparator with an integrated 2.55V reference voltage source, designed for voltage monitoring applications. It is optimized for battery-powered devices such as PDAs, cellular telephones, and pagers, offering an extremely low typical supply current of 1µA.
This comparator features a voltage threshold accuracy of ±2% and fixed internal hysteresis of 40mV. The operating voltage range is from 2.75V to 5.5V. The MIC845HYC5-TR is available in a 5-lead SC-70 package, suitable for surface mount applications.
Its high input impedance CMOS input allows for direct voltage monitoring without external resistors, or it can be used with an external resistor divider to detect a wider range of voltages. The output stage can be push-pull or open-drain, with the open-drain output capable of being pulled up to 6V regardless of the supply voltage.
