The MIC68200-1.2YML-TR is a high peak current LDO regulator designed for applications requiring significant start-up current, such as FPGA core voltages. It can source up to 2A for start-up and provides 1A of continuous operating current.
This regulator operates from a wide input voltage range of 1.65V to 5.5V, making it suitable for various power supply configurations. It supports advanced power-up and power-down protocols including sequencing, tracking, and ratiometric tracking, controlled via Enable and Power-On Reset pins. A programmable ramp control feature helps manage in-rush currents and output voltage slew rates, crucial for capacitive loads.
The device is protected against over current and over temperature conditions. It features a fixed 1.2V output with a +1.0% initial tolerance and a low dropout voltage of 0.4V at 1A. The MIC68200 is supplied in a small 10-pin 3mm x 3mm MLF® leadless package, suitable for surface mounting.
Multiple MIC68200 devices can be daisy-chained for complex power management schemes, enabling precise control over multi-output power supplies.
