The MIC47300WD-TR is a high-bandwidth, low-dropout, 3A voltage regulator designed for powering core voltages of low-power microprocessors. It features a dual supply configuration for low output impedance and fast transient response. The main input supply rail operates from 1.4V to 6.5V, allowing for adjustable output voltages down to 0.9V. The bias input supply requires 3.0V to 6.5V.
This regulator is stable with a minimum of 1µF ceramic output capacitance and offers ±1% initial tolerance. It has a maximum dropout voltage of 400mV at 3A. The device provides ultra-fast transient response with up to 10MHz bandwidth and excellent line and load regulation.
Packaged in a 5-pin TO-252 (D-Pak) surface mount package, the MIC47300WD-TR operates within a junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. It includes thermal shutdown and current-limit protection features, making it suitable for applications such as graphics processors, PC add-in cards, and microprocessor core voltage supplies.
