The MIC4129YML-TR is a low-side gate driver from Microchip Technology designed to drive high capacitive loads up to 10,000pF. It delivers a peak output current of 6A with a low output impedance of 2.5Ω, enabling fast switching of power MOSFETs and IGBTs.
The device operates over a wide supply voltage range of 4.5V to 20V and features matched rise and fall times of 25ns typical. Logic inputs withstand negative swings up to -5V, and the typical supply current is only 450µA with a logic 1 input.
Housed in an 8-VFDFN exposed pad / 8-MLF package measuring 3x3mm, the driver is surface-mount compatible and supports an operating junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
