The Microchip Technology MIC2800-G4MYML-TR is a high-performance power management IC designed for efficiency and flexibility. It features a 2.7V to 5.5V input voltage range and operates at a 2 MHz switching frequency.
This IC integrates a DC/DC converter capable of up to 600 mA output current in PWM mode, alongside two LDOs. LDO1 can provide 300 mA from a 1.8V input and supports output voltages down to 0.8V. LDO2 is also capable of 300 mA output current. The device includes a LOWQ mode that reduces total current draw to 30 µA, with output noise as low as 75 µVRMS.
Key features include integrated Power-on Reset (POR) with adjustable delay, thermal shutdown protection, and current limit protection. The MIC2800 is ideal for embedded MPU and MCU power, portable and wearable applications, low-power RF systems, and backup power systems.
It is housed in a compact 16-pin 3mm x 3mm QFN package, suitable for space-constrained designs. The mounting type is surface mount.
