The Micrel MIC26601YJL-TR is a constant-frequency, synchronous buck regulator that operates from a 4.5V to 28V input supply, providing a regulated output of up to 6A. It features an adaptive on-time control architecture for ultra-fast transient response and reduced output capacitance.
The output voltage is adjustable from 0.8V to 5.5V with a guaranteed accuracy of ±1%. The device operates at a switching frequency of 600kHz and requires no external compensation. It includes a full suite of protection features such as undervoltage lockout, internal soft-start, foldback current limit, "hiccup mode" short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown.
