MIC24420YML-TR

The MIC24420YML-TR is a synchronous PWM dual output step-down converter IC from Microchip Technology, designed for efficient power management. It features internal 2.5A high-side switches and an integrated low-side gate driver for synchronous operation, enabling high efficiencies in low duty-cycle applications. The device operates with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 15V and supports adjustable output voltages down to 0.7V, with a 2% output voltage accuracy over the operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.

Key features include a 1MHz switching frequency, dual outputs operating 180° out of phase, and pre-biased output startup capability. The control scheme allows for a wide range of output capacitance, from ceramic to electrolytic types, with a single compensation component. It also includes features like output voltage sequencing, programmable maximum current limit, and a power good output signal for controlled sequencing of output voltages. The MIC24420YML-TR is available in a 24-pin 4mm x 4mm MLF® package with an exposed pad.
