The MIC2287YD5-TR is a 1.2MHz pulse width modulated (PWM) boost-switching regulator optimized for constant-current, white LED driver applications. It features an input voltage range of 2.5V to 10V and can drive a string of up to 8 white LEDs in series with an output voltage up to 34V. The device offers over 500mA switch current and operates at a high frequency of 1.2MHz, which allows for smaller external components and reduced board space.
Key electrical specifications include a 95mV feedback voltage for improved efficiency and <1µA shutdown current. The MIC2287YD5-TR also includes Output Overvoltage Protection (OVP) with options for 15V, 24V, and 34V. It provides <1% line and load regulation.
