The MIC2103 variant includes Hyper Light Load architecture for pulse skipping mode at light loads, while operating in fixed frequency CCM mode from medium to heavy loads. The MIC2104 variant utilizes Hyper Speed Control for fixed frequency CCM mode under all load conditions.

 

The evaluation board parameters include an input range of 12V to 75V, an output of 0.8V to 5V at 10A, and a switching frequency of 200kHz (adjustable 200kHz to 600kHz). The device has an internal VDD LDO, eliminating the need for an external linear regulator for internal biasing. The evaluation board requires a single power supply with at least 10A current capability. Precautions include no reverse polarity protection and a maximum VIN rating of 75V.
