The MIC2027-1YM-TR is a quad high-side MOSFET switch optimized for general-purpose power distribution requiring circuit protection. It operates within a 2.7V to 5.5V range and provides a minimum continuous current of 500mA per channel. Key features include internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, undervoltage lockout, and a fault status flag.
This device employs soft-start circuitry to minimize inrush current, making it suitable for applications with highly capacitive loads. The MIC2027/77 series is available in 16-pin SOIC packages. Its features make it ideal for applications such as USB peripherals, general-purpose power switching, and notebook PCs.
The switch type is USB Switch with an output configuration of High Side. It offers a typical on-resistance of 100mΩ and supports an interface of On/Off. The fault protection includes current limiting, over temperature, and UVLO (Undervoltage Lockout).
Mounting is via surface mount technology. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C (TA). The package is a 16-SOIC with a width of 0.154 inches (3.90mm).
