The Vicor MI-J22-IZ is a 25W isolated DC-DC converter from the MI-J00 family, designed for military and industrial distributed power architectures. It operates from an 18V to 50V DC input with a nominal 28V per MIL-STD-704D/E/F, and delivers a single regulated 15V output at up to 1.67A.
The converter achieves up to 90% efficiency using Vicor's zero-current switching architecture. Protection features include remote on/off control, overcurrent protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), and overvoltage protection (OVP). The output voltage can be externally trimmed from 50% to 110% of nominal.
The MI-J22-IZ is housed in a fully encapsulated 9-DIP through-hole module measuring 61.0mm x 57.9mm x 12.7mm. It is rated for continuous operation over a case temperature range of -40°C to +100°C (I-grade). The module is suitable for commercial ITE applications and meets MIL-STD-810 environmental requirements.
