The Texas Instruments MF10CCWMX is a versatile monolithic dual switched capacitor filter IC designed for general-purpose active filter applications. Each building block, when combined with an external clock and 3-4 resistors, can create various 2nd order functions, including allpass, highpass, notch, lowpass, and bandpass outputs.
This device offers easy-to-use functionality with a clock to center frequency ratio accuracy of ±0.6%. The filter cutoff frequency stability is directly dependent on the external clock quality, and it exhibits low sensitivity to external component variations. The fO × Q range extends up to 200 kHz, with operation up to 30 kHz.
Up to 4th order functions can be achieved by cascading the two 2nd order building blocks within the MF10-N package, or higher-order functions can be formed by cascading multiple MF10-N packages. This allows for the creation of classical filter configurations such as Butterworth, Bessel, Cauer, and Chebyshev.
The MF10CCWMX is available in a 20-pin SOIC wide-body surface mount package. It requires a supply voltage range of ±9V to 14V.
