MF10CCWM

The Texas Instruments MF10CCWM is a versatile Universal Monolithic Dual Switched Capacitor Filter designed for general-purpose active filter applications. Each of the two independent building blocks can create various 2nd order functions, including allpass, highpass, notch, lowpass, and bandpass outputs, by combining with an external clock and 3 to 4 resistors.

The center frequency of the lowpass and bandpass functions can be directly dependent on the clock frequency or influenced by external resistor ratios. For notch and allpass functions, the center frequency is directly tied to the clock frequency, while the highpass center frequency depends on both resistor ratio and clock. Up to 4th order functions can be achieved by cascading the internal blocks, and higher orders are possible by cascading multiple MF10-N packages. This allows for the formation of classical filter configurations like Butterworth, Bessel, Cauer, and Chebyshev.

Key electrical specifications include a frequency range up to 200 kHz and an operating voltage of ±9V to 14V. The filter operates up to 30 kHz. The device is housed in a 20-SOIC wide-body surface mount package, measuring 12.8 mm x 10.3 mm with a package area of 131.84 mm².

Designed for ease of use, the MF10-N series offers high accuracy in clock to center frequency ratio (±0.6%) and stability directly dependent on external clock quality, with low sensitivity to external component variations. This makes it suitable for various signal processing applications where precise filtering is required.
