The Texas Instruments MF10CCN is a monolithic dual switched capacitor filter building block. It consists of two independent and easy-to-use general-purpose CMOS active filter blocks. Each block, along with an external clock and resistors, can produce various 2nd order functions. The center frequency can be directly dependent on the clock frequency or on both clock frequency and external resistor ratios.
This filter features a 200kHz frequency and is a 4th order universal switched capacitor type. It is housed in a 20-PDIP package and designed for through-hole mounting. The operating voltage range is ±9V to 14V.
Up to 4th order functions can be performed by cascading the two 2nd order building blocks of the MF10-N. Higher than 4th order functions can be obtained by cascading MF10-N packages. Any of the classical filter configurations, such as Butterworth, Bessel, Cauer, and Chebyshev, can be formed.
