The MF-SMDF150-2 is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse from Bourns, designed for overcurrent protection in low-voltage, high-current applications. It features a hold current of 1.5A at 23°C, with a trip current of 3.0A. The device can withstand a maximum voltage of 15V and a maximum fault current of 40A.
Electrical characteristics include a minimum resistance of 50mΩ and a maximum resistance of 170mΩ at 23°C. The time to trip at 8A (Vmax, 23°C) is 800ms maximum. Typical tripped power dissipation is 1.1W. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
